March 8, 2014 Update
Hello Music Lovers,
Today’s beautiful weather had my crocuses blooming and my windows open while I cleaned my floors. Classic, just like the songs I sing with Dale Britt. We have been working together for 16 years now. Our songlist has swollen to nearly 700 songs for your requesting pleasure. We are currently working solely at Adolfo’s Italian Restaurant in the Beach Plaza Hotel at 13th street and the boardwalk in Ocean City, Maryland. Every Friday night is Date Night with a special Date Night menu and us at the piano bar making the ambiance romantic and classy. Our Fridays at Adolfo’s are year round now. Starting Memorial Day weekend we will add Saturdays to that. If you or someone you love enjoys the Old Standards from crooners like Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, and Johnny Mathis, you will enjoy our music. If you dig jazz cats like Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Tony Bennett and Bill Evans, then you will totally dig our scene. If you choose to chill to the likes of Diana Krall, Jane Monheit, Karrin Allison, or Norah Jones, then you’ll go for our vibe. And if you are keen on reminiscing to Nat King Cole, Natalie Cole, Linda Ronstadt, and the Carpenters, then you’ll fit right in. Throw in some Beatles and Roberta Flack for good measure, and “Desperado” from the Eagles and you begin to get a clear picture. Now, add to all of that great service from an attentive staff and DELICIOUS food. Voila! It’s a night to remember! All this can be yours every Friday night. And, because I can, I will tell you about my daughter’s latest endeavor. She has started her own business making bentwood rings and pendants. She is selling them on Etsy.com. Her business on Etsy is called TheTreeHearts. She uses wood laminate. They are selling already. She has had four custom orders. Yes, I’m a proud mama, and not shy about it.
