My website was hacked!
It was a sad day when a guest emailed me about our schedule for the summer, asking if Dale and I were taking the summer off. Hardly! We've been working 1, 2, and 3 nights a week since May. Anyway, it was a good thing this gentleman brought this to my attention, because I discovered that my website had aquired an infection on a bit of old code. All my gig entries were erased as a result. I was very sad to see them go, because they were a bit of diary for me. I could look back and see where we played years ago....but not anymore. Oh, well. These things, unfortunately, happen to innocent people everyday. There are worse things that could happen. The great news is that my talented and observant webmaster, Dennis Powers, located and fixed the issue quickly. I have found the time to post our gigs that we have in stone for the rest of the year at this point. I will really miss the gig posting for March 16, 2010. That's when Dale and I played Blues Alley in Washington, DC. It was a grand night, and will remain our big claim to fame. Ahhh....memories...Twas a very good night. Anyway, the site is fixed and the dates are posted. I can resume my very busy life now. School is keeping me extremely busy, and the few gigs we have this month give me a chance to let off steam. It is truly humbling to see all of our regular fans come see us each time we play. Some we know well, and some we do not yet. I love this job. See you soon!
