May 20, 2011 Update Hello Music Lovers, I have news for you. Because Phillips Beach Plaza has undergone such huge changes, including dropping the Phillips name, changing the restaurant to Bomora and letting Dale and I go, we have had to go look for work. Times are hard, we are late in the game and there are not many gigs to be had. This is made easier by the fact that Dale's daughter is getting married June 4th (BIG wedding), his wife is retiring from teaching and wanting to travel WITH Dale and my daughter is graduating from high school. We're both kind of grateful for this time off, to be honest. However, we still want to perform together. So to keep our hand in the game we visited a few clubs this week in search of future gigs. And we got two, which could lead to more at these locations. Dale and I just booked a gig next weekend, May 28 & 29, 2011, at the Restaurant at Lighthouse Sound. 5-9pm Address: 12723 St. Martin's Neck Rd. This is our first time here in a looooooong time. Dale and I are grateful for the opportunity to try our music anew in this proven venue. This could possibly become a regular gig, depending on how much business we bring in/lure here. LOL! It's gorgeous and well worth the short drive from Ocean City, Maryland. Please come out and support us and this local business. Also, we booked Friday, August 26th, 2011, at the Ocean Pines Yacht Club, from 7 to 11pm Their website: http://www.oceanpines.org/page.aspx?PageID=1 Weather permitting, we'll be out on the deck next to the pool, under the stars! Classy music to dance with your sweetheart along with fine food and drinks can be yours. Venture westward to Ocean Pines to the Yacht Club and enjoy yourself with us.
